I did maxxecu conversion year ago and I really like it so I definetly recommend aftermarket ecu as a hobby and to replace some hard to diagnose old parts.

GoWesty sell the same unit with t3 specific parts and instruction manual.
So few dollars more and you can cut trough a lot of the head ache.
