It looks like a pretty plan black box...with a perforated cover I think.....I can take a picture tomorrow if it helps.....many people have fitted alternative units when theirs pack in. crikey this is looking more like a rolling shell mm Tell me about it I think I am at the cross roads with this,in 2 minds now to buy or not,yes on the face of it 3000 euro=£2500 is cheap for a westy,but theres alot missing,and I can't see the selling accepting less than 2800 euro=£2336 at todays ex...

just going back to the missing power steering
where would i find the pas pump? I know the bracket is still there for the reservoir pot and the cut out through the bodywork is there for the pipes, do the pipes connect up to the rack?

It might be that your battery is very flat
try and leave the jump leads on for a few minutes,and try constant revving the other car to put some charge back into your battery
