Hi,pretty much agree with previous replies,i`m lucky enough to have use of car hoist,my 82 does exactly the same thing,it has previously had new push rod tubes fitted but i can see that the oil is still leaking from them,maybe the seals wern`t fitted correctly as all 8 tubes are leaking quite badly...

It's not that difficult a job, (I can do it - thus it can't require too much nous ), but is a little fiddly, examine the job carefully before you start and it won't seem so hard once you get the spanners out. PS,does anyone know where i can get a new previous owner from? If only. Should you find a ...

Hi,looking for a bit of advice,i`ve recently fitted new heat risers and pods on my 1982 Aircooled.(previous owner had removed them for some reason)now i need to fit new cables( previous owner snipped them off ).is the fitting of new cables a straight forward job,or do i need my bumps felt..
