westfalia poptop storage?
I have the late poptop roof without the storage facility thats on the earlier roof has any one come up with a rack for the front part of the roof or any other ideas cheers Rik

Having been on my first trip in my camper i was surprised and quite pleased with it ability to keep up with traffic on motorways and A roads .So i was wondering what the different engine /models cruised at ? mine is a 1.6td westy poptop and sat happily at 70/75 mph and even hit the heady height dow...

When I first got my camper I traveled on the motorway at an indicated 70mph keeping up with the flow of cars around me occasionally a little faster down hill or passing "silverbacks" that were in my way. I used lots of diesel and oil too :shock: . Last year I slowed down to an indicated 6...

So going off the replies it would appear i have an optimistic speedo which may be the case im going to check it with sat nav next time out im not sure how out of sink it is though as it was happily keeping up with traffic .

cheers will give them a good wd 40 ing tonight as im doing at weekend brickwerks suggest -40 eibachs for a westie so you may be pushing it at -50 especially if may be they are a little tied 2nd hand ??
