Many thanks
If you do Facebook go and search for VW T25 GTi Conversion, then look in the files section. The guide and lots of other data is there.

Will do! Thanks.

Thanks for your input Silverbullet, they sold anyway so it's back to the olde rituals for me.

Unilug wheels

I'm considering buying some old turbovec wheels but they have a unilug stud pattern to enable them to fit both Ford and Chevy stud paterns with the use of different washers. The VW 5x112 stud pattern falls between these two, so is there any reason why with the right washers they shouldn't be fitted ...

Re: Fan belt confusion

Yeah there are only 2 belts in total, one runs from the crank to the altenator via another pulley on the water pump (I think it's the water pump), the other from the crank to the power steering pump.

I got both from Brickwerks and as they suggested I read the sizes off the old belts to ensure i ordered the correct ones, the power steering belt went on fine but the fan belt (10x875) will not fit for love nor money, it's ...

JX fuel injector pump issue

So after a trouble free year with my van it suddenly won't start. After a bit of investigation it looks like the problem is with the fuel injector pump, there's not enough pressure coming through to open the injectors. Can anyone offer suggestions as to where to source a new pump, or if that's not p...

Replacement auxiliary water pump

Hey all, I need to replace my auxiliary water pump as it is leaking coolant. I've seen them online priced between just under £90 (Brickwerks) up to £130 elsewhere but T25 direct have second hand ones for £30. Any advice on whether it's worth taking a gamble on the cheap option or am I better off spe...

Van overheating...

I've had a problem with my engine overheating over the last couple of days, it's a JX. The first time it happened I checked the water level and it had got very low indeed so I topped it up again but the van is still running hot at low speeds yet seems to be cooling fine on the motorway etc. It hasn'...
