There is alot of labour involved. I did mine myself, not something I would rush into doing again!
Might save a bit on the price if you removed the old carpet, glue and floor yourself. A dirty job but easy enough.

I don't think you can get Fellows spares anymore unless they crop up on Ebay etc. Fellows cookers seemed to be swapped out for Spinflo 2 cookers but I don't think they are available in this country anymore but can get them in USA and New Zealand. These are based near shipston on stour. Might be a bit far from you but Malc and his mate are very knowledgeable and do alot of work on t3s.

Double check the fuel filter. I have found it to be be a real pain to get the pipework airtight. Especially the ones with the thermo valve. Even had a new tank fitted because of air bubbles after thinking it couldn't be the filter!

Personally if it's not been flagged as an issue I would be inclined to leave alone. However I do regularly spray these areas with a bit of ptfe oil as part of routine maintenance. Don't know if it helps but hopefully it's worth it.
