The 'drip drip dripping especially at night when trying to sleep is annoying . I used what you've got, magnetic sheet that deflect the rain. Cut into thin straps then stick it on if it looks like rain

Possible fuel pump push rod. Do tend to wear down over time. Should be 100mm.

Is the wire at the back of the solenoid loose or damaged?

Look to be working properly
Is it an intermittent thing?

There is alot of labour involved. I did mine myself, not something I would rush into doing again!
Might save a bit on the price if you removed the old carpet, glue and floor yourself. A dirty job but easy enough.
