AAZ - Loud Air filter / Silent Coat or something else?

My remanufactured AAZ is running very nicely and I've ironed out the last few running issues. Changed the tank which has resolved the conking out on left hand sweeping bends or motorway exit ramps, bad baffles or rust I guess. Another gear box and this will be a beaut to drive. I'm am pretty much on...

Re: VW Heritage Cab Carpets VS Newton Cab Carpet

Should probably add my 2p worth as I ordered a Newton cab set. Very good quality carpet that I received, plush but the fit seems quite far off. I've never fitted the battery boxes and wheel arch parts because they don't line up quite right and I think it needs someone who knows a few tricks to get i...

Re: Fuel guage rewire?

As an update since the aaz has gone in it does get to the middle if sat in traffic for prelonged periods or if ragging it on the motorway (over 65 ;) )

Re: AAZ Converted - Fuelling probs and few other little queries

Thanks, funnily enough I saw a 3h for sale recently that sounds like a decent rev range.I have no rev counter but it certainly sounds higher than that at the moment.

Cheers for the air leak pointer too I will have a look and see if I have a similar problem.

I did look out for you but wasn't sure where you were. I was on the flat four fanatics club stand :-)

Re: petrol clocks and diesal clocks

My lights are the only thing that does work, temp gauge is a bit lazy and the fuel gauge hasnt worked in 4 years... :(

I saw some clocks with the speedo part missing and no rev counter at Standford hall they wanted £150, I laughed at him.

I used these guys http://www.sgs-engineering.com/gas-struts/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If they can't get you one they can probably regas the existing one for you.

AAZ Converted - Fuelling probs and few other little queries

Hey folks, It's been a while and the T25 has the AAZ conversion in and is running pretty nicely. I've done a few miles and overall its running great. Couple of minor niggles and maybe a gearbox change is needed. Just wanted opinions on any others who've done it. I've been having a good read of old p...

My VW California Beach has blue motion, also includes cruise control and regenerative braking as part of the package, as well as tyre pressure sensors.

Re: Fuel guage rewire?

Apologies for delay I haven't been around lately.

The temp gauge does indeed work, I'm not sure what is normal but it sits quite low at about one quarter and rises to about half when stationary in traffic.

The dash is one without a rev counter and no clock, has odometer that goes in 100'000s

Fuel guage rewire?

I've tried the sender and the voltage regulator and I still have no fuel guage.. Everything else is working fine.

Is there a way to wire up a fix for just the fuel without a whole knew pcb? I have a soldering iron but not a lot of knowledge.

Headlight upgrade - Relay installation

This is a little intimidating to my eyes but I've seen Ralphs lights and they look great. I've got some defender angel eye lights when I'm feeling brave :-D
