Re: Subaru conversion - sump
Thanks Ben! I've contacted them and they are very helpful however reading on another post somewhere the smallcar sump does not fit with the RJES engine mount/cradle I'm really struggling, anyone else got any ideas?

Re: Subaru conversion - sump
I've just emailed Kennedy engineered products in California and I'm awaiting a reply, is there no where closer than the other side of the world that does this? I'm really struggling to find anything.

Subaru conversion - sump
Hi guys I'm currently looking to lower my Subaru (ej20 n/a) converted van using RJES mount and need a shorter sump! So far I've contacted, Bug@5speed in Germany, fellowes speed shop and RJES and am waiting on a reply from another company, the first two have said they supply a sump which is only 1/4 ...

Retrofit power steering options
Hi guys! I've finally finished fitting my Subaru engine and have also fitted a smaller steering wheel! Driving the van last weekend I've decided that although I'm happy driving the van like this with no power steering, my partner won't be and although I'm happy for this to continue (women drivers an...

Re: Electrical problem.
The battery is fine and if I turn the key right the way around the starter cranks the engine over but it obviously won't start. I've taken the cover off of the steering column but where do I need to test?
Also could there be a fuse gone anywhere?

Electrical problem.
Once again I have an electrical problem, I've now sorted the engine bay wiring and the engine runs but now when I turn the key in the ignition it doesn't send any current to the corresponding wire in the engine bay and none of the dash lights up! I've checked all the fuses in the dash and They are a...

Re: Exhaust problems
Cheers for all the help, I think I have finally found a decent exhaust at a reasonable price from magicbus and if that doesn't work out I have spoken to the powerflow dealer in Exeter (cheers elvis) they have said they might be able to do it but can't guarantee it or tell me roughly how much. Intere...

Exhaust problems
I have recently installed an ej20 engine in my van and need an exhaust, I can't find anywhere that will sell me one or anywhere that can make me one without the van, I can't drive the van without an exhaust and nowhere will guarantee they can make me one even if I get the van to them! :/ To complica...

Re: Hello from Cybox Exhausts
Hi
Is there any chance of a Subaru engine (ej20 etc) exhaust? There seems to be a lot of people carrying out n/a Subaru conversions on t25s but there isn't any off the shelf exhausts that I know of! :/

Re: Ej20 wiring issues
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1424292113.080167.jpg I'm not sure if this shows it very well but that's the extent of the problem. Wiring from modified loom to alternator, starter, coolant level, fuel pump and to the engine itself are all fine but the issue I'm having is with the wiring from the van to the...

Re: Ej20 wiring issues
I completely understand as I already have one, the issue I have is that the ' 'original' wiring in the van has been abused in the past and has been completely butchered to add things over the years, I'm trying to remove sections that I don't need and isolate and identify what is remaining and connec...

Ej20 wiring issues
Hi I bought an ej20 engine and converted loom (along with key transponder and ecu) and I have now installed all of the conversion bits from RJES into the van and all has gone well. I am now in the process of Sorting the wiring out, and am having some problems, the first one is that the wiring in the...

Re: Which speedo do I have?
That's good news as that's the one that I have, just need the short gearbox mount kit and I should be good now! I have gone for the tape the key to the antennae option at the moment as I only have one key and if I loose it I'm stuck! I do like the solution you've come up with and I think I will be d...

Which speedo do I have?
I am currently fitting an ej20 engine and need a VSS (vehicle speed sensor) and I don't know if I need the old threaded type or the newer type of electronic VSS that plugs in, see photo below
Anyone know?
Cheers in advance and merry Christmas
