Daz, this is very inspiring... I need to do lots of welding on my van. The previous owner (s) must have spent a fortune in body filler, some of the panels are not the correct shape.

Your pics make me want to buy a mug welder and weld my van up properly!

How hard is it and can I ruin my van???

tail lights

my rear tail lights on one side are not working. on one side I have the older type ULO (working) and on the other I have Hella (not working) The hella one seems to be missing the internal metal pieces where the bulb connects so it will never work. I read that they are not compatible with each other ...

Thanks! as suspected it was a wiring issue. found one or two joins in the wire connecting the ignition switch to the starter motor? new cable run, will connect tomorrow! :ok
