Injector could be causing back pressure if dodgy or dirty.

Ignition on click, lets fuel through.

Have you checked stop solenoid on injection pump? You should hear it click when a live is fed to it.

What dipstick have you got in?
If 1y it will now be too short.

1Y SUMP M14 X1,5 X16
T25/T3 SUMP There are 2 types M16, and M14 x1,5

Governor spring governs fuel. When at maximum revs less fuel is injected.

on the log book. Whats your insurance like?
Your engine will most likely be original (modified by VW )

Hi its a type 4 engine, an code is 1800cc and was fitted to bays, and later modified to fit some Aircooled vanagons / t25's.

Check battery is fully charged, check glowplugs are working, check starter motor cranking fast enough, check main glowplug fuse strip in black box, check your new solenoid is working ( you can hear a click when power is supplied to ...
