Re: Diesel Diesel Everywhere!
Mine did the same whilst in Germany this year. Id already had to replace the pipes up to the expansion tanks, so I had an idea it was the breathers on the top so we continued home with no problems as long as we didnt overfilll the tank. I ordered new parts including the tank and gave it a go. The on...

Re: Fuel expansion tank breather hoses/pipes
Now changed the complete tank as I had a 'bit of an issue' whilst away in Germany with the hoses on the top of the tank. Take my word for it, that if you've needed to change the pipes to the expansion tanks, then the others are in a similar state. Not a bad job, apart form draining the tank whilst o...

New Fuel Tank on a 1.6td JX
I'm changing my fuel tank as it has started leaking at the top somewhere and is in a bad state around the edge, so thought id do the whole lot whilst its out. As i've not dropped it yet, i'm having trouble seeing what I need to order to try to do this in a weekend without grinding to a halt as i've ...

Re: JX fuel injector pump issue
Just been down this route. Bought a cheap replacement off a guy on the T25 facebook forum. It wasnt any good.
Ended up paying the £299 off T25 direct with a year warranty.
Suggest you see if you can fix yours as it aint cheap.
I have a gasket set FOC if it helps and you need it.
Just let me know

Temp Gauge
Has anyone a photo of a JX engine showing the engine sensors please. Ive had a bit of work and the temp gauge is not operating now. Im assuming all others are ok and maybe the coolant sensor has gone, but noticed the wire colour to the coolant sensor (front end of block?) is not red/yellow as shown ...

LDA Pipes 1.6td JX
I've searched long and hard, but cannot find anything that references how the LDA connects via the piping. (Not even sure what LDA stands for, to be honest) But- I have what looks like an air pipe coming off the side of the LDA and it has a splitter around six inches along and one of the pipes goes ...

New Turbo
Anyone had experience of buying a new turbo or a reconditioned one ? I'm looking at what appears to be a new turbo for a 1.6TD at around £500 against £350 for a reconditioned one with some new bits . Perhaps I could find one secondhand, but not sure I'd want to take the chance of fitting it and find...

Re: Fuel expansion tank breather hoses/pipes
Thanks for the replies. My layout appears to be the petrol rather than diesel drawings but without the jubilee clips. Not to worry i've ordered a couple of lengths from the link attached and we'll see if that fixes it.

Re: Fuel expansion tank breather hoses/pipes
Thats the picture im looking at. Vent line a + b (presume they have not shown them to scale as they are only about 6" long, but no mention of the ID in the manual. I guess I'll take one of them off and measure it. 5.5mm appears to be the concensus

Re: Fuel expansion tank breather hoses/pipes
Ive a similar problem with my 16JX diesel. The diagrams I have dont show the short length of flexible pipe that appears to come from the expansion tank to the solid pipe. I just need to know what the inside diameter of the flexible pipe is to save me taking it off before buying a new section. hopefu...
