Yes I guess so................ Anyway I was going to get it fixed up anyway so I might as well just do the job and seal it all up. The place I took the van to is a big engineering place close to my work who specialise in larger vehicles. Maybe they are just used to being harsh with all the commercia...

UPDATE. Didn't have time to fix up the steps and thought I'd get an advisory. Van went in for a MOT today and the guy has failed it on the two steps!!! I said I thought this would just be an advisory and I'd fix it myself so he said he'll look into it. It also needs a touch of welding under the rear...

Steps on my T25
Hi, My T25 is up for MOT in a few weeks and I was just looking for some advice. Overall the underside of the van is solid but I am not sure about under the two steps that lead into the drivers and passengers seats. The main floor is solid but I think the steps are a bit rusted and wonder if this wou...

Hi, I am just about to do an oil and filter change for the first time and have also the forementioned copper washer in hand from GSF. I am just going to fit it as they say. Can I ask the benefit of doing so many oil changes (8 in 2 years?). I reckon I do 1000 miles max a year in the van and hope 2 g...

Head Rests
Hi, I recently received a set of head rests for my 85 Caravelle out of another T25 but unfortunately they dont fit. My fault I should of measured first and not expect them to be the same. The distance between the holes on my seats is 8" but these headrests measure 9.5" between the pole cen...

underseal
Hi, I have recently sealed a couple of holes in the main cab floor with fibreglass and relaid the floor. Can anyone recommend a good product to underseal over these holes with? The underside has been sealed b4 I bought the van but now I can see a couple of nice pink patches where the holes were........

Hi, Just back from B@Q and Wickes and both of them only have a maximum ply width of 1220 mm whereas the measurements I took for the van were 1550 x 1550. Do you think I could just buy 2, cut both to 1550 length then butt one 1220 one up against one cut to width 330 mm. I could then fix together usin...

New Floor
Hi all, I will be fitting a new piece of ply to the van floor today after fibreglassing over some holes. How does one secure the ply to the floor? Do people use some screws? I was thinking about running silicon sealant along the top runs of the floor then setting the ply on top. I don;t know if this...
