New exhaust system

Hi bit of a daft question, but just purchased a whole new exhaust system off Just Kampers and every part has a sticker saying paint needs removing and then repainting with vht paint. Will this need shot blasting to remove the paint or can I buy a paint stripper and rub it down? Bit annoyed as wasn't...

New fuel lines,using E10?

Hi just changed all my fuel lines using the kits from brickwork. I've been filling the tank with v power since the introduction of E10 at end of last year,as I was aware of the problems of E10 degrading old fuel lines. Will it now be ok to use E10 or shall I stick to using V power or can I use a mix...

Re: engine keeps dying on me!

sorry forgot to say there is no misfiring and there is a loss of power until engine cuts out, sometimes i can keep it running by putting full revs on,which led me to think there is a blockage somewhere?

engine keeps dying on me!

Hi,a few months ago my 1985 1.9 petrol t25 cut out while in France. it was taken to a garage and mechanic changed air and fuel filters and cleaned fuel lines as there was a blockage in them. Van ran fine after that but has just started to die on me again. Anybody have any idea what problem could be?
