Surf Boards ????

I have a side elevated pop top and would like to store surf boards on the outside of the van rather than inside as they take up a seat!!

Any suggestions?

My roof also has a fitted roof rack to the rear.

Sorry for the really delayed reply, Its just called Auto Glym Fabric Hood Cleaner, you get two bottles, one to clean the roof and the other to waterproof and seal, I'd reccommend it as its done a great job on my roof :ok

Thanks but its all sorted now, I was advised to buy some Auto Glym cleaning stuff for cabriolet roofs and it worked a treat, :D :D (£19.99 from halfords but cheaper than new canvas) its now even cleaner than when I bought the van :ok

Detol mould and mildew remover is good stuff, comes in a green spray bottle. My local Sainsburys stock it. Just stray on and scrub off, keep well ventilated though :ok Oh and welcome :lol: Have already tried this, worked perfect on the inside but did nothing on the outside??? But thanks for trying ...

The freedom it gives us to take off any time we have chance, being with family without TV/DVD/Playstation, waving to every camper we see :lol: feeling part of a really big family where all are welcome :D

Does yours do this too? I am talking about my speedo, anything below 40mph the speed arm? judders and ticks making small movements back and forth, very quickly. Then when I reach 40mph its suddenly quiet and smooth? Have I got a problem or is it normal? Regards Mine does this all the time, never do...

I have a hissing coming from the engine somewhere?? tried to find out where from but with no mechanical knowledge this has proved difficult! Can't hear it while driving, only notice when its ticking over and there doesn't seem to be any loss of power! Any ideas?? Recently had a new exhaust pipe but ...

Finally managed to get new gas struts for the roof of my camper and fit them, finally the roof stays up all by itself! YIPPEE!!! now i have another problem one of the hinges is about to let go!!! :cry: any advice please Its held with only 1 rivit against the camper roof, thats not gonna hold for lon...

the extra weight has overpowered the gas-struts

I would say the gas struts were on their way out anyway, this happened to my tail gate, you need new ones or carry on with the plank!!
