Turbo Diesel 1.6 engine
Does anyone know the correct code for the lower v belt between crankshaft pulley and water pump. The one adjusted with shims?

Had a similar problem a few years ago. Lubricated the catch at the rear of door with WD40 and it solved the problem? Worth a try.

Not a great amount of fliud. Cleaned up and test pedals over a few hours but no further leak has appeared yet. Fliud leve...

Re: RESTORE AUTOHOMES KOMET

Mike Will be applying sealer between fibre glass hitop roof and steel roof then squeeze in seal before it goes off. Seal is a snug fit over fibre glass so should think this will work okay. Have had the seals cut to length and fitted for the last couple of weeks without sealer. When checked underneat...

Re: RESTORE AUTOHOMES KOMET

Completed final job on Komet which has been annoying me since it was put back on the road. OIL LEAK from pushrod tubes. Purchased expandable replacement from VW Hertitage. Had tried to seal round the tubes when we first got engine running. This did slow it down slightly, but I could not stand the dr...
