Re: Rust-oleum not "going off" on sealant

Thank you for this, do you mean redo the paint? If so I have already tried that and it doesnt seem to have helped. Or redo the sealant? Hopefully not but needs must! Maybe I could try some primer below the rustoleum? Pain that I can't really get out to get primer at the moment due to lockdown though.

Re: Rust-oleum not "going off" on sealant

I used "Puraflex" as it was available off the shelf and states that it is overpaintable.

Re: 1.6D Gearbox Query

I am about to remove the engine and gearbox from my 1.6D (CS engine code). It has a 4 speed gearbox which will be available for sale either with or without the ancillary parts. Looks like I’m a long way from you but we might be able to sort something out if you’re interested.

Questions on paint and engine bay detailing

Hi all I am intending to upgrade my engine to an AFN from a donor Passat. Since I am going to the effort I would like to fully clean and paint my engine bay and potentially the new (used) engine. I have a few questions and would appreciate any advice (some of these may belong in the mechanical secti...

Re: Dashboard lights "inverted"

Thanks a lot, I'll take a look at that. Is it fairly easy to get into the switches?

Also I will look up that relay upgrade. Cheers.
