5 speed to 4 speed conversion

hi my 3h box has died on me and i was thinking of replacing it with a abd 4 speed . i know if you go from 4 speed up to 5 you have to change the linkage but if i swam my 5 down to a 4 do i still have to change the linkage's ? And if i do need to and didnt what problems would i have ?

yep i do want to lower the revs but im not sure if 205/70/15 will look daft

just trial fitted my new wheels .the van is standard height and has a crap gear ratio so the new tyres will be 205/70/15 it will need 10mm spacers at the front and i will fit the same at the rear what do you think ?Image

Our van hasn't been through an MOT yet since they have been fitted so cant really answer that question but, in my experience, things that cant be seen, cant be tested. in other words remove the belts before you go for the test. Hi there. Roof isnt lined at the minute but will be soon hopefully lol. The seatbelts are attached with 'Delta type quick links' which we remove each time we park up. Today we have fitted 3 point harnesses in the back for our lads aged 6 and 4, removed the front bench seat, cut the bulk head out behind the seats, fitted a new passenger seat and fitted an immobiliser.
