Cheers Adrian
I'm thinking bolt through the hightop is the way to go
Think it looks much better, besides I've dug out the sealant and still left with the lip that holds the roof on.
Got no idea how it's done though?

Re: Fiamma fixing
So shiny new fiamma f45 arrived the other day, I decided to go for the gutter fix kit it my westy hightop. I've cut away all the gutter sealant only to find there is no where near enough space to attach the bracket. Has anyone any idea where to go from here - I was considering cutting away a small s...

Re: Thermo mats
Cheers for all the replies, think I'm gonna go for the JK ones.
Great looking van Gordon nice to see it with an awning on - I've just ordered one from the Fiamma store
and was a bit worried about fitting to gutter on a hightop to but yours looks fine.

Re: Thermo mats
do they make much difference when you've got the double glazing anyway? I've got an external Silver Screen for the front, but never felt the need to insulate the rear as well..... I like the look of the silver screen but Looking for black out more than keeping warm. I few mins extra sleep with two ...

I need some new Thermo mats for my Club Joker - any recommendations?
Looking at JK or VW Heritage they're the same price, but not sure if the same product.
Cheers

How do you fit a awning to a westy hightop?
Hi I need some advice.
I'm about to buy a fiamma f45 awning and was wondering what's the best way to fix it to a westy high top?
Just my preferance but I think it looks better bolted to the hightop rather than using the gutter fixing kit.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

We were originally inspired by your video when trying to decided where to head to.
Time to get the maps out now and start planning a route.

That sounds about right we've got just over two weeks.
I was thinking 3-4 traveling hopefully finding some cool passion sites on route.

Re: Camping in France
Hi Patrick
Thanks for your reply. Not a hundred percent sure but like the look of the Verdon Gorge?
Not to fussed about heading to the coast- we live in jersey so get to spend most of the summer on the beach.
Would like to be by a river/ lake
Lots more research needed I think.
