Mine went the same,the more I looked at it the worse it looked so I pulled it off,the dry/dusty stuff just pulled off and I used white spirit to get the remainder off,what was below was the same finish as the cupboards,was wlell chuffed,left it like that,just be a bit careful if using a scraper :ok...
