Reccomendation New Engine
After an oil cooler malfunction I have to decide about getting my original engine all re-bored, and new parts etc or getting a re-furbed jx 1.6TD engine of the shelf. Prices are similar. Can anybody recommend a reliable outlet for a re-furb off the shelf engine with good reviews and warranty. Thanks...

Hi I am looking to replace the carriage bolts on my 89 westy pop top roof. Was thinking about stainless steel or chrome? I have a 1989 left hooker 1.6 TD Vanagon with a faulty km speedo. The odometer numbers kept falling off the spindle. Anyway I bought some nice alloy dial covers in mphH. I now need to get a MPH Speedometer to match so the needle is accuarate as it can be in mph. Some of the them are pricey on Ebay, ...
Re: Roof leak
Cheers Andy. James the roof is down most of the time due to the Scottish Rain. Will try to clean it with Milton but looking to get to the cause of the dampness to rectify it. Any further suggestions welcome.

Roof leak
Hi. I have a 89 Vanagon Westfalia Pop top. Since I have owned it a large amount of damp spores have appeared on the inside of the roof. The seals look fine, so I was thinking that maybe the roof, like plastic hulled yachts of a certain age is suffering from Osmosis. Anybody had a silimar problem and...
