After an oil cooler malfunction I have to decide about getting my original engine all re-bored, and new parts etc or getting a re-furbed jx 1.6TD engine of the shelf. Prices are similar. Can anybody recommend a reliable outlet for a re-furb off the shelf engine with good reviews and warranty. Thanks...

I have a 1989 left hooker 1.6 TD Vanagon with a faulty km speedo. The odometer numbers kept falling off the spindle. Anyway I bought some nice alloy dial covers in mphH. Cheers Andy. James the roof is down most of the time due to the Scottish Rain. Will try to clean it with Milton but looking to get to the cause of the dampness to rectify it. Any further suggestions welcome. :D
