have fitted new oil cooler from gsf,flushed out the coolent system using a little washing up liquid to disolve the oil
after four flushes the water is now clear
took the van out for a run all seems well,and the van seems to be running cooler than ever :)

cheers andysimpson, ive took the oil cooler off,cant seem to find a leak on it ,im goin to fit new oil cooler and see how it goes

any body know the usual symptoms for head gasket trouble

So far ive got to 32mpg from a base line of 29mpg.My engine is a 1y 1.9 diesel.When i did the base line check there was only me in the van.The 32mpg im getting is with 5 of us in the van with all of our camping gear.I mostly run around at 60-65ish.This guy seems to be getting better results www.wate...

buteux My engine is a 1y diesel,so i fed the hydroxy into the air intake,just drilled a hole and fixed the pipe into it.You could try that that and see how it goes. well got a reply from water boost,cant stretch to the £ they want to install the hydrogen system.so will have to make my own. Think they do use hydrogen and oxygen in some form for rocket fuel,thats why they get exited when they find water on mars ect

seems that it uses the H and the O to make hydroxy or browns gas,this is fed into the air inlet and,they say gives 30% more mpg,seems simple cant think why it wont catch on if its that good,oh and they claim the emissions are cleaner

job done van up and runing with 1.9 engine and is much better to drive,can leave it in top gear up hills now.still have leaking oil fill tube,spoke to cj he says this item is like finding hens teeth,will keep looking........cheers gaz
