Re: What's this?
I'd say it's an oil temp sender, I have fitted instead of a normal sump plug.

Looks like someone has removed the rear heater.

The box above is a smart meter. You can see the display unit unplugged to the right of the fuse board.

Re: What do you do with scrap parts?
My local recycling centre has a large scrap metal skip or if I can't be bothered, I message a local scrap man and he'll come and collect it. He is actually coming to collect a broken TV I have in the next day or two.

I didn't even think the speedo had to be working. How would they test it?

Re: Panel protector trim removal and clips
Probably a good idea to regularly remove and clean behind the side planks, they can hide all sorts of nasties!

Re: Replacing fuel (petrol) hose from injector rail to injector
If the metal rings aren't to secure the fuel hose onto the injector, then what are they there for? Surely it's not worth the risk for the sake of a few hose clamps.

Re: Porsche cup 1’s
They were 25mm same as the front, but after lowing the van the slight camber made the side door catch the wheel.

Re: Porsche cup 1’s
The door did catch the rear wheel just very slightly and scratched the wheel, hence the reason for changing to the 20mm adapters.

Re: Porsche cup 1’s
I have 8j on the rear (245/45r17 tyre) , with 20mm adapters and 7j up front, with 25mm adapters. Unsure of the ET though.
