Re: Washer jets problem

Do you mean outside?
If so, I've had the seal up a bit both sides and there's no sign of rust?
Just a bit of gooey khaki gunk.

Here's a pic, left side.
Right side is the same. Keep you posted.
I'll pay it safe and wait for the weather to warm up first.

Re: Washer jets problem

Weld, I'm hoping for a little surface rust a bit of wet and dry will sort out.
I'm highly optimistic about things.
Regarding the seals, not spoke to anyone yet, about actual work.
Keep you posted about it.
Cheers.

Bugger, thanks for the fast reply.
Well worth the question though!
I'm waiting for the day it packs in to upgrade to 1.9td
But apart from putting in 2l of oil every 6 weeks its going strong.
Thanks again.

1.6td question?

hi, I've tried searching first but no luck so far, does anyone know exactly what cc the 1.6td engine is? I'm looking into updating my log book as its a 1.7 on log book, and it's got a 1.6td in it. If it's 1549cc or under it'll be £130 per year not £220 I'm paying now? Most sites say 1600cc obviously...

Thanks, I wonder if that's causing the wet floor issue?

Re: Washer jets problem

Thanks for the reply , I'm guessing nothing is gonna come through the pipe, with it being a new nozzle or jet, it's also raining now, so ill try to look tomorrow. I'm thinking about food colouring the water in the washer bottle to see if the pipe is leaking into the cab. Probably be a good idea at t...

Heard about pug 307 jets will fit, so decided to spend £10 on making an improvement. Got them home, trimmed a little off...
