LED warning lights for DASH voltage?
Hello good people, Does anyone know the voltage for the LED Warning lights on the dash? I cannot find this information anywhere. I am having trouble with my battery light not working. Instrument cluster out and I'm currently repairing it with Epoxy and have hard wired the LED instrument illuminato...

Re: Manifold Heater problem. 1.9 WBX early
I just have to say that looking back at some of my messages, is a bit like looking at my previous wiring - what the hell was I doing? Anyone else understand that? lol Anyway, at some point way in the future and now in the past, I connected the pre-heater and everything is OK. I presume the battery...

Re: 1.9DG - No Spark
Update - I bought a new distributor and that solved the problem - most likely the hall sensor was bad, it was old and needing changing anyway. I am almost ready for MOT - however, have an issue with the dash lights - the oil and battery light have gone, after I have done some wiring to the LED cloc...

Re: t25 running lumpy / kangaroo
that sounds similar to the problem I had. I pretty much changed everything and lastly the Distributor.
Have you checked for any electrical leaks? you may see them by looking at the engine in the dark with the engine running. You could have a cracked distributor cap or dodgy ignition leads.

Re: t25 running lumpy / kangaroo
I had a similar problem and it was the Hall Sender in the Distributor.
Can you tell if it's electrical or mechanical/Fuel problem? If it's electrical, switching the engine off and on again might solve the problem temporarily. Then that might point to a dodgy distributor.

Re: Don't these vans drive you nuts?
I've owned my van for 13 years now. Over the last 6 or 7 years I've had to spend a couple of hundred pounds a year repairing and replacing things, like the suspension parts and exhaust and earlier this year, I repainted the whole van with a roller using Cellulose for about £50.. bargain! I did take ...

Gearbox Tool VW 381/14 anyone?
Hello lovely T25 people, Just on the off chance, does anyone have this tool available to borrow for a Month? I am having problems with my second gearbox now, it is not going into reverse. The original one from my Van is in bits and most likely needs the 3rd gear hub but I cannot access the insides, ...

Re: Manifold Heater problem. 1.9 WBX early
I've already checked many things and found the voltage drop coming from the relay in the black box. The relay that triggers the Manifold Pre-Heater. Then I disconnected the Pre-Heater directly and that solved my problems. When I connect the Pre-Heater directly to a live, it makes a spark and voltage...
