Re: type 25 2l misfire and back firing again

Hello chris , welcome to the club. When I come round this week we can do a compression test together. I pulled this from the wiki earlier Compression pressures - Bar (psi) Engine. Min Typical Max diff Air Cooled 2.0 5 (73) 6 (87) ~ 9 (131) 3 (44) also after looking at the pics that I took today of y...

Re: Convert single to twin round headlight

It's a simple mod, will take a couple of hours max. You will have to mark and drill the new holes for the inner spots . Use the new grill to get the spot postion just right , measure and check a few times before drilling and then they can be wired up to your existing full beam circuit. Job done

Re: Sliding Doors- How many types?

That early sliding door you have there ( in good condition) is hard to come by , I was after one before I repaired mine and couldn't find one for ages, people would just laugh at me when I said I was looking for one and then when I did the bloke wanted £300 for it . I'd eBay it , I think you'd get a...

My new seats , repair advice needed

Hi all , went to Brighton and picked up these Porsche 911 seats today. They are easy enough to fit but was just wondering if it's possible to repaint the leather as they are slightly the wrong color (looked right in pics but not when I got there) also what should I do Or use to restore the leather b...

Re: seam rust advice (picture) for newbie

I'd use a mixture of everything , dremel, sandpaper, wire wheel etc. But don't use that crap paint from halfords . It reacts badly to auto paint from the professionals . I've had to painstaking remove all of it on my bus before I sprayed it properly. And don't forget to sort out the back of the seam...
