turns out it was leaking around the rubber seal in the m cyl which the plastic pipe pushes in to , i still have the old m cyl so swapped the rubbers over which sorted the problem !

as above iv'e fitted new clutch m cyl & noticed a leak which i think is coming from where the hose from reservoir joins the m cyl , the hose is only pushed on , the van i got the pedal assy off (as mine was cable clutch before ) did 't have a clip on the hose , should it have one if so what type...

hi , no I haven't done a build thread on it I'm afraid, obviously you have to get the coolant pipes , rad ,& associated brackets to hold the rad & cut the front panel out & sort the fuel tank out as well , what I didn't realise is that the cooling fan housing won't fit as the floor panel...

thanks for that i was looking at my tank today & did think about putting it back in the van but the pickup pipe looked a bit too small, i will get hold of a tank from a dj engined van thanks for the info

no not running yet just put a mr2 stainless exhaust on which i won off ebay for £1.04 but felt a bit guilty so gave the seller £2 & told him to keep the change , i have my modified loom off rjes to put on & sort coolant hoses then i can fire it up

hi , yes put it where the watercooled ones fit & had to cut the front panel
i got hold of the bottom mounts & also the top one which i chopped out of a van that was
being broken , once i got it out i drilled out the spot welds before fitting it on mine

ok thanks for that , i,m glad i asked as i would of put them round the wrong way ! ' i have the reversed coolant manifold from rjes & just ordered the coolant pipes so hopefully should get it running soon

thanks for that i have the same as 1st pic so the bottom hose from rad would go to the bottom hose on the subaru engine ?
