thanks for the links and the advice guys have run a length of 50mm will see how it gets on have hydraulic crimped an m8 50mm lug and 50mm battery terminal so should be OK on amperage and impedance

sorry if this has been asked before but I couldnt see it in the title of all the posts does anybody kow where I can get a replacement starter cable from as the one I have on my bus is corroded to the extreme at the starter end , A known fault apparently I have got a 35 mm 2 cable but its about half ...
