dalek cap hose

hi does anyone know what hose fits on a blue dalek style pressure cap to the overflow tank behind the number plate.i have looked on brickyard, vw heritage and on their diagrams the hose is there but isn't one of there parts???. does anyone know what diameter this is, or where to get some, or at leas...

hi i.ve been scouring wiki and the masses on rustoleum paint jobs. but my problem is that my van has an existing rustoleum paint job from few owners back I can spot a few bits starting to bubble where obviously issues with the seams hasn't been sorted. has anyone tryed blending in a previous rustole...

think ill go ahead then and drain replace the cooler and refill with a small mount of coolant as a get it home solution
i have started at this as a total novice and am learning a lot from this website, thanks again, guess ill be a pro at this by time the gunk clears.

5 miles with no coolant yes or no??

hi unsure if it is a good idea or not? but my van is parked with no access to a hose have just sorted an earting issue and finally had engine fire into life the main coolant bottle is full of grey sludge, possibly from engine swap not being fully flushed, broken oil cooler,or head but prob not. thin...

thanks for the advice guys had the best feeling listening to my engine fire back into life yesterday. appears wasn't earthing properly through the alternator added an extra earth strap and fired stright into life cheers covkid for that one. now onto draining the coolant and swapping oil cooler. :D :)

right now i'm baffled, starter works fine engages and spins at high speed. trying to think it through is it possible that the wire from the ignitions is not providing enough power to engage it. what would be best way to test?? any ideas.

yea had thought that but have checked best i can best i can wih dash still in, and they appear fine plus everything was running fine with the dash board back in. the problem started when i plugged the speedo console back in. but as the title says maybe have to pull the dash off again give the spider...

cheers thats ok then thought i'd got it wrong then, yea pics are always great found a step by step swap for cs to aef on here assuming some of that will still be relevant. still not found a definative step by step for 1y in pics, well 1but he ran outta cash halfway through so pics just stopped :).
