Re: Headlamps working strangely
I guessed as much, I've since found out that it can't be the relay if only one isn't working? THanks

Re: Headlamps working strangely
I've changed the bulb twice and no change? I suppose it could be two faulty bulbs, but is there any other possibility?

Re: Headlamps working strangely
I know that it probably has something to do with the headlamp relay, but want to be certain that this could be the cause before I go tinkering with something I don't understand.
If it is the relay, do I need a new one, or are there other issues I can cross off the list before I buy?

Headlamps working strangely
Fixing my headlights on my T25 which have gone a bit squiffy. I realise that this may be a very basic problem, I'm just not savvy electrically. I have searched, but I'm still a bit lost. Both headlights work on normal beam, then when I turn to full beam, only the nearside light works. Plus, the side...

Upper ball joint bolt replacement
Heyo Last week I attempted to change the upper ball joints on my van. One side was fine, but on the other side the head of the bolt that attaches the ball joint to the wishbone snapped off. Where can I find a replacement for this? Is it going to be impossible to find something suitable in a hardware...

Re: MIG welding advice
A bit more research, it seems that not enough power is making it through. Apparently this could be the contact tip being too far from the point of weld. Even on full power it's just building up and not penetrating at all. The other day it was welding much better. Since then I don't think I've change...

MIG welding advice
Hellllo, I recently purchased a MIG welder... a Clarke 105en (I know it's not great, but can't afford anything better) I got some 1mm steel, and trying the welder on lots of different settings, but just can't get it to actually weld. It just keeps creating lumps of melted welding wire on the surface...

Re: Upper ball joint carnage
After some serious hammering I finally got the stuck one out, and replaced.
Any ideas on how to get the snapped bolt out? I think I can just drill it out if I can get the drill in there, because the thread only screws into the actual ball joint, not the wishbone...

Upper ball joint carnage
So got to changing the ball joints that failed my van's MOT a couple of weeks ago. The retest is on Monday, although looks like I'm going to have to cancel and book in another full MOT  Anyway, changed the tie rod ball joints with not much hassle, got to the upper ball joints and now I'm stuck...

Re: Where to buy rustoleum spray cans...
But I couldn't order combicolor spray cans from them. Either that or I completely missed it.
I couldn't find any places to online order the colours I wanted for this purpose, so thought I'd come to a forum with a large amount of members who will know the answer.

Where to buy rustoleum spray cans...
Sorry if this is talked about elsewhere, I looked through the thread at the top but couldn't find many links to suppliers. A few months ago I painted my van using the rollering method from the DVD. Worked quite well, although didn't get the smoothest finish... still good enough from a couple of mete...

Re: Upper and lower ball joint advice... (without press)
Well It does seem that it's only the rubbers that need changing, at least on my MOT, but I thought I would just change the entire lot whilst I'm down there, I hope the next owner will appreciate it, so ended up buying 2 upper ball joints, and then both complete track rods... all for about £50, which...
