Re: T25 Fuel injection engine (water-cooled) keeps cutting out.
chuckle-bus Getting consistent readings from the alternator but will be replacing the brushes as soon as I can. Because of the battery light I'm leaning towards an iffy earth somewhere, but also a little worried in case it's the Airflow (£306) but don't want to change it just on the off chance witho...

Re: T25 Fuel injection engine (water-cooled) keeps cutting out.
Lorhob, Spookily on the day you posted this thread I had exactly the same problem, the only difference being that when mine is running the battery light comes on intermittently and stays on. Instead of creating a new thread, here's what I posted on the Facebook page, so could you please keep us upda...

Re: 1989 2.1DJ Fuel Injection Question please.
Didn't see your comment about the clean looking crankcases. I'd like to say it was down to me, but it's a Vege recon which had only done 700 miles when I bought the van 2 years ago, although right now they don't look quite so clean. This of course gives me the opportunity to show off the van and to ...

Re: 1989 2.1DJ Fuel Injection Question please.
Thanks ghost, I appreciate your advice. I saw two codes in the preview but wasn't sure that was correct or not, so didn't want to delete either. I'd previously seen other posts that had obviously done the same as me so thought it was correct although, I'd also seen posts where the photo was shown as...

Re: Help please, serviced van now it won't start!
Not sure if you've sorted it yet, but I had a similar problem following giving ours a full service last Monday, including new ignition leads, dizzy cap and rotor arm. After a few miles got really really lumpy and I thought it was the fuel injection system, particularly as practically all of the igni...

1989 2.1DJ Fuel Injection Question please.
We have a 1989 2.1DJ water cooled fuel injected Trident AutoSleeper and I am wondering if anyone can tell from the photo below, (hopefully uploaded) whether the system is a Digijet or Digifant. If you are unable to identify it from the hopefully uploaded photo, can you let me know how I can determin...

Re: Pros & Cons of covering the vehicle for the Winter?
Thanks for the idea of just covering the roof and tying the cover down to blocks. I hadn't considered this prior to buying a tarpaulin to cover the whole van, but certainly will do so if I find any problems or hear from others of any problems occurring as a result of vans being completely covered. T...

Re: Pros & Cons of covering the vehicle for the Winter?
The suggestion I've had is the possibility of trapped moisture between the tarpaulin and the exterior bodywork. Not too concerned about the inside of the van because like you, in my opinion the permanent puddles that are in the two footwells have got to be worse than any possible internal moisture c...

Pros & Cons of covering the vehicle for the Winter?
I have taken the old girl off the road for the winter, and due to the fact her windscreen leaks appallingly, and I am unable to get it sorted for a few months, I've covered her with a tarpaulin, (Done the same with the van too!!!) :rofl Just wondering whether anyone who has also covered their van fo...

Re: Motorbike/Scooter Rack?
Dazco, It was more about the scooter being new, and therefore more likely to be reliable than a 46 year old retro scooter, the weight also played a part, rather than the make :D The main focus was the ability for it to be carried on the back of the van without it causing any driving problems which i...

Re: Motorbike/Scooter Rack?
Thanks all. It's about 110kg, and we went for a new Vespa because of reliability and weight. The retro Lambretta we were looking at was too heavy and at 47 years old, despite being completely reconditioned we had reliability concerns. Was apprehensive at first, but carried it a 1,000 miles through F...
