Hi Guys,

automatic choke is knackered on the van so have to let the engine warm up befor any trip. is the automatic choke repairable of will I need a new carb? I'm handy at most things but don't really want to tackle this job if I'm honest.

Give the area a good wire brushing before pasting it, also after wire brushing, wipe any dust etc away first. cheers guys for the feedback repairing this afternoon will let you know how it goes. it's only a small hole size of a straw end but when I rev by hand can also see a flame light up the pipe

that's for the great reply puts me at ease. I'm going to book it into my local vw specialist just didn't want to sound like a total tool when booking it in asking for something that couldn't be done
