Re: What Interior Insulation to Use

I know someone who is having their van re-lined and they are about to spray exxpandable foam in any cavity they find ( ooh err missus !) I have suggested that this may not be the best idea as there would be nowhere for any water / condensation to escape and would therefore "rest" on the fo...

Re: Top panel replacement below windscreen

PHEW!!! Thought I was binned then !!!!

I get ya mm, thanks for that. Can you just explain what you mean by wheel boxes ? Would that be the gubbins and rods that "drive" the spindles ?

I have got some pics and I will start a post once complete.

Cheers

Re: Top panel replacement below windscreen

Hi guys, I could do with a little advice. My bus has been off the road having a back to metal spray and has been garaged for 6 months ( well overdue to get back on the road) Anyhow, I took the wiper spindles and motor away from the top panel and removed the old rubber grommets. A long time has passe...

Re: Hub Caps from Just K's

Thanks for all of the replies peeps. I would prefer the stainless hub caps but it's the thought of some scum bucket ripping them off at any time and selling them for the price of a quick fix :x I think I might try 2 of the JK ones and keep the Brasso or Duraglit at hand and report back :ok

Hub Caps from Just K's

Hi all, was wondering if anyone has ever bought any steel hubcaps from JK's The asking price for used ones on flea bay is ridiculous. I appreciate that they may not be top quality gear but if anyone has had any, can they let me know if they stayed on the wheels or if they rusted up etc... I was thin...

Bluebird Swivel Seat Base

Evening all, Has anyone purchased a swivel seat base from Bluebird Customs. I am looking to buy one as they are very hard to come by 2nd hand. I have removed my original seats and runners and fitted some leather Saab seats directly to the seat box. I am now hoping to remove the seats, fit the swivel...

Re: just a bit stiff!

if its bad changing hot and cold your gearbox has evil within it, it requires having it's evil spirits exorcised by Aidan the gearbox Shaman. Respect to the Shaman known to many as Aiden ( grovels on knees and bows like a novice to the great one ) but where oh knowlegeable servants doth the great o...

just a bit stiff!

Hi gang, was just wondering if your magic minds could offer some advice. Please.. Now I am aware that the T25 gearbox has a mind of it's own and you do sometimes have to persuade the odd gearchange, which I can accept as "just the way it is" but my gearbox tends to struggle mainly getting ...

Shotblasting Original Steel Wheels

Evening board, I was thinking of shotblasting my steel wheels and re-painting / spraying for a spruce up for the summer. I would also like to fit some spacers say 20mm front 25mm back, plus I would also like to lower my bus by up to 60mm. I have been reading up on the minefield of fitting alloys and...

Re: Which 12Volt Telly/DVD Player?

Gooday, Re all the discussion on the use of 12v tellys / dvd's can any minds of wisdom - to which I doth my cap - confirm if it is good practice to just take a cable - preferably fuse protected - from a Zig unit or from a leisure battery straight to the tv, only I read somewhere on t'interweb that s...
