Is this the correct hose set?

On our way to a campsite this weekend, a hose split between above the oil cooler. I managed to cut the split bit off, and reattach with more water and got home. I’m going to replace that bit of hose, but figured I’d do the lot since others are bound to go at some point. The van used to be a 1.6na di...

Re: Air Intake Boot......Newbie

I've taken mine out today because it was broken and very noisy. Here's what it should look like in the van (but minus the big zip tie which is holding the bellows together)............x http://www.windsorchair.co.uk/vwpictures/2014_1104airduct0001.JPG And here's what it looks like without the van! ...

Re: Custom CAD interior project

Paul would be best answering that question. He’s “therollingbrick” on this forum.

I believe they are vohringer ply and 15mm thick. Really strong and light for their size. I think he is planning on starting a business designing and selling them in the future

Custom CAD interior project

Morning all, just thought I’d post some pictures of a custom CAD interior my friend has designed and built for me. Within it, there is a sliding spice rack, pull out wetsuit drawer in the boot, sliding top bunk for the kids, concealed battery compartment etc… Very impressed with what he is capable o...

Can you check my wiring?

Morning all, just wondered if someone could look over my wiring for a new leisure setup. Specifically, the location of the earth when using the victron controller

Thanks

Re: What size gas tank do you have?

Many thanks I’ve just looked at their website and you’re correct, it is 16 litres. However, it is the older type with the brackets separate to the tank itself. I think I would rather have the newer easyfit system whereby the mounting frame is welded to the tank itself. I’ve had issues with the last ...

What size gas tank do you have?

Hi all, Looking to install a new underslung gas tank. However, the size I originally wanted is out of stock on gasit.go.uk I was originally going to purchase a 20lt but this won’t be available until the end of April. I can bump up to the 23lt but this is a larger diameter. The next option is 25lt wi...

Re: Exterior surf board storage

Check with the seller, but they are telescopic. The photos on the eBay listing and on my van are set on their lowest setting. They can be adjusted for more height

Re: Exterior surf board storage

They’re pretty hard to come by now as I think they have been discontinued.

But…. By incredible luck

Re: Semi traction wet lead acid batteries?

Thanks Kev, will take a look into 6V batteries. They seem much cheaper, and doubling them up gives twice the available charge for essentially half the price

Semi traction wet lead acid batteries?

Morning all, we are planning on upgrading our leisure battery in our van when we redo our interior later this year. Currently we have a smaller battery in the engine bay but the voltage drops to 12.1v over night when running the propex and then the low voltage disconnect cuts in. I will be moving th...

Will these merc wheels fit?

Hi, I’m looking at a pair of R15, 6.5j, ET37 steel wheels. My understanding is that they will need spacers to offset this ET. Is this correct and if so, which size spacers would you recommend?

Many thanks

E D I T, planning on sticking 215/75/15 wheels on them
