Jeffdub I had a long winded thread going on this very subject....two starters, battery, alternator regulator, brushpack, starter motor bush, earth leads at gearbox nose AND battery later.... and the propblem would go away, then return.... it was incredibly annoying to say the least. Thks for yr inputs, but i still can't figure out the fuel pump thingy... googled for blank plate but none of them looks like the profile in my picture one.. Any insights?
Also, any clue as to the alternator wire?

Hi, is there an easy way of putting in engine oil without getting it everywhere !!!Thanks....There is just no room to move ! :?: On long trips, i usually put a pint of oil in a used 1 pint milk bottle.
