Stereo wire colours, I think I've got it right
Hi all, I've done a search and I think I'm right but just wanted confirmation regarding the wires for a car stereo. The wires have been chock blocked from the previous owner, red from the dash goes to red and yellow on stereo, brown is negative. I've read on other threads this is correct but for som...

Re: RM212 Fridge venting...is this enough?
Interesting, I' was tempted to put in another couple of holes in the floor as well as make the top vent bigger. I'll see if I can be arsed over the weekend

Re: RM212 Fridge venting...is this enough?
Hi 1664, yeah there's no lower grill, the upper one is the standard size but with only a small hole behind it  The gas worked perfectly today in cooling the fridge down and after 4-5 hours at setting 3 was hot to touch but no so it would set fire to anything. I'll be testing it out on the main...

RM212 Fridge venting...is this enough?
Hi all, I've fitted a RM212F fridge in my autohomes komet this weekend, it replaced a really old rm122. Now it's working fine on gas and being vented out, pipe is hot to touch and you can smell the exhaust flowing out. The only other venting I have is roughly a 1.5" hole in the floor of the van...

New 12v ciggie socket from Zig?
Hi all, I just wondered if I was able to wire one of these in to my CF8 zig unit? Say in with the water pump? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SINGLE-12V-WATERPROOF-MOTORBIKE-CIGARETTE-LIGHTER-ADAPTOR-ADAPTER-POWER-SOCKET-/251017614742?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3a71d0d596" onclick="wind...

Re: Alternative to door window scraper seal?
That would be great, I don't mind giving you something for it. They are interchangeable too so the inside left fits the outside right and vice versa so they would fit fine. I'll PM you

Re: Zig CF8, Adding additional lights/fridge/inverter
No push button ignition :( I have a stick that twists and sparks (now that I've put a flint in it). When I push the button it just goes in, I can only assume it starts the gas flowing for you to spark with this thing. Here's a couple of pics, you might know where I need to spark it :D Fridge - http:...

Re: Zig CF8, Adding additional lights/fridge/inverter
1664 just replied to another of my posts, it draws 9a at 12v apparently. I think I just need to get it working on gas rather than trying to sort a more permanent 12v source and worrying about draining batteries all the time.
Thanks for your help, hope I can get it going on gas!

Re: 3 Way Fridge fitting, quick q REVISED!
Thanks 1664, I think if I can get it working on gas okay then I'll just leave it as it is. It seems to work really well when the van is on so be a shame to chop it in, although looks tired.
Cheers

Re: Zig CF8, Adding additional lights/fridge/inverter
I've just been a real donut! the current fridge (Electrolux 120) is 12v or gas and we've already fitted a relay so it works when the van is moving so no need to wire in to the zig. The previous owners said they never used the fridge on gas because they couldn't spark it so I guess I need to t...

Zig CF8, Adding additional lights/fridge/inverter
Hi, we have a CF8 wired in to our hitop and just had a couple of questions I'm sure you'll be able to answer. We currently have a water pump wired in pins 5 and 6 and just one strip light wired in, pins 9 and 10. Is it possible to wire more than one light in to the unit? We wanted to add maybe anoth...

Alternative to door window scraper seal?
So the inside and outside rubber window scraper seal is pretty much screwed and was on justkampers looking for a replacement. This is what I need, inside and outside http://www.justkampers.com/shop/window-scraper-nearside-outer-or-offside-inner-j10748.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);...
