I am also looking for a good mechanic in Warwickshire or the wider Midlands. I have a T25 1987 water-cooled.

Thanks I will. I'm just waiting for a rubber filler neck collar thing as the fuel is leaking out through the perished rubber when filling up to top. Will fix that first then get onto choke...

Thankyou - I have tried the blip thing but doesn't work really. Sometimes but it's inconsistent.
Someone else mentioned brickworks is it brickworks or brickwerks? It's is forum isn't it?

1.9 Petrol automatic choke problem
I am a new owner of a hi-top T25 D reg Karisma hi-top 2 berth conversion 1.9 petrol water-cooled van. When I start the van it runs very high and carries on with high revs well into a journey.
