how much fabric and carpet is needed to retrim an interior?

looking into the options for our van does anyone know how many metres of fabric/vinyl would be needed to retrim two front seats, 3/4 length r&r bed cushions, and the roof bed cushions in a camper van? and if anyone has done a complete interior retrim including the above and all doors cards, how ...

Re: respray disaster :(

i agree with KNT - get some good pics up - where are you spraying, what are the conditions like? most likely causes are not cleaning the surfaces well enough before laying primer or paint (small amounts of contamination from sanding water or sweaty hands), not allowing enough time for evaporation be...

Re: Low power and misfiring under load 2.0cu

In the end it turned out to be number three spark plug giving up the ghost. but have you established the cause of the failed plug? get a compression test taken sooner rather than later, esp. on number 3, and check your valve adjustment - if it's a new (to you) van, don't assume the hydraulic lifter...

Re: Help needed please

hello devonboy and welcome :ok from what you have described i would suggest you start with/check the obvious things first it's intersting that your mechanic went straight for one of the less likely, but more expensive, options - i'd be going somewhere different in the future if i were you  hav...

Re: Distributor Question 2L Aircooled

if it's a double/dual advanced dizzy, then you should need to set it at 5 degrees after top dead centre (atdc) the timing marks should be visable on the rear of the fan housing (ignore anything on the front if you're not sure they are copies of the marks on the rear) if you can't find the marks on t...
