Just fitted new mountings to my 83 1.9 df, three lined up and dropped fine but the os outer seems to be an inch or more from the peg hole on the top of the mounting. is this normal or have I done something wrong before I try and wrestle it into place ?

I will add that to my list for the weekend with my delivery from jk today I would say my weekend is sorted

I've got a df in mine and idle has always been a bit erratic until the engine is fully warm . mine did improve after curing all the air leaks around the carb but still idles at a very low rev .i It will be interesting to see what's suggested here.

1983 1.9 df with 145,000 miles no oil use but tappets rattle a bit.

My van kept cutting out and wouldn't restart intermittently, i found the spring clip on the ignition amp had broken and the plug was rattling about causing the intermittent fault .New retaining spring no more fault. Hope this helps.
