hi all, i'm a bit new to the 1.9 dg ( i am looking after this one for a friend) here is the problem, van starts very well just about all the time, has had a full survice in last 150 miles, recently it has developed an intermitant fault in that when driving for more then 20 mins or so it may cut out,...

any one know where to get a new flywheel for 85dg motor (228mm cluch)?? im finding it as hard to find as a dodo !!

just had a quick look at a 1.9 dg motor i have on the bench, this hole would seem to be for a bolt, on this engine its not had anything in it. and it should not be possible for oil to come out ! you sure it not running down and collecting here? may be give it a wipe and keep checking it,

sounds to me like the pads have worn out and your getting a bit of metal on metal, i would check them out asap

sounds like brake pads to me, if you touch the brakes gently when you hear the noise it stops ?
