Air cooled auto engine
Is the 2ltr Aircooled auto engine different to the 2ltr manual or could an engine from a 2ltr manual fit to a 2ltr Aircooled auto box? Thank in advance.

Outside Van Cover
My hightop T25 will be spending the winter months parked outside on my driveway. Looking to purchase a cover and was wondering if anyone covers there van during winter and can offer any decent recomendations on what experience they have/having with covers. Thanks in advance.

Autohome Kameo
Just purchased my latest Type 25: a 1989, 3 owner, low mileage, ziebarted from new Autohomes Kameo hightop. The van is in remarkable original condition having minimum bodywork issues. The engine runs like a dream, everything works. Its obviously wanted for nothing since 1989 and hopefully will conti...

Re: Electrolux RM212F
I've found that my fridge running on gas is more susceptible to the van not being level than when it's on electricity, to the point where I've now got a small spirit level in the van for when I'm parking it on the chocks. (Bonus, better sleep!) Might be worth double checking that first, before dism...

Electrolux RM212F
Having just bought an '89 Autohomes Kameo, everything behaves as expected apart from the fridge. It works brilliantly on mains and battery but not functioning correctly on gas. I have cleaned all wires and connectors and the rear on the little red ignitor switch and have now got the burner lighting,...

Re: Temp guage reading high?
It could be nothing to worry about at all. These vans temperature gauges can be quite variable. As long as it remains constantly like this, ie it doesn't sometimes read much higher, or much lower, under similar operating conditions, I wouldn’t worry. The radiator fan is coming on when it should, so...

Temp guage reading high?
Purchased a nice 1989, 1.9 4 speed camper last Sunday. Its a pretty tidy example with low owners and a complete and comphrensive service history. We have just had a nice weekend away in Wales with the van and ive noticed that the temp guage reads high once van been driven a few miles. The guage sett...

When you say guttless, do they do ok on a motorway or are they a risk. For example can they reach 60/70 mph?

T25 Westfalia 1.6. Diesel
Currently searching for a decent Westy. Looked at quite a number nut been very disappointed at the rust issues. Have located a decent one but its a 1.6 Diesel. Have heard so many stories about this engine thats its rubbish due to being so slow and powerless. What is the honest opinion about this eng...

Re: Heater Help Required??????
Just tried following the basic operation steps above, tried half a dozen times before red light would go off, but only for a couple of seconds. Ive checked the gas bottle to ensure enough gas, there isn't a huge amount left in the bottle but a very small amount can be heard as bottle is shaken. Does...
