Auto Gearbox Throttle Lever Leak
Auto Gearbox Throttle Lever Leak Hi all knowledgeables! I'm sorting out the long list of issues on my van, hopefully in time for some summer camping (even if it's limited to the back garden!). Pic below for reference but I have a leak from behind the slotted end on the throttle lever on the auto bo...

Re: GTi conversion using automatic box
What did you decide to do in the end? I am in a similar situation but my DG has lost compression on no. 3 and needs pulling out. My thoughts are: to rebuild the current engine and stick with the underpowered feeling (German autobahns are a bit iffy!) and using it to your Europe is the plan. To ship ...

Re: Is there any difference between auto carb
Does anyone know what the jetting is for the auto?
I'm going to rebuild a spare carb and while I'm at it I'd like to fit the correct jets.

Re: Headlight issue
Thanks for the replies and the diagrams > I'm sure they will be useful in future. For now, the problem is resolved, as predicted there was an earthing issue and deterioration of the cable about an inch away from the crown. Earths separated and new spades crimped on. I've ordered the H4 relayed loom ...

Re: Headlight issue
Not yet - I ran out of light and thought I'd seek out the wise advice on here.
- I've just realised you're taking about the crowns - it was all refreshed in the summer but I'll go over it again tomorrow.
Fingers crossed

Hi! 1.9 auto DG engine Caravelle 1987 problem... When I switch on the headlights the blue full beam teller comes on but no headlights. Rear lights and dash lights are working but there's only a very dim sidelight at the front end. I've pulled, wiggles and replaced relays, stalk connections, fuses an...

Hi,
First post, recently bought a T25....
I had no dash lights on the speedo - wiggled the buld and it came back on. Turned on the lights yesterday and now theres nothing illuminatedon the dash - the headlights all work fine and fuse 3? is ok.
Checked the bulbs with a meter - any suggestions?
