Re: 1987 1.9 T25 watercooled temp gauge
if the temp senders been replaced by one from GSF then thats your problem. They have too high a resistance from cold so make the gauge read higher than it should, measured a few with my ohmeter and they all read about 8 or 9 ohms more than the original(leaking) one that i had. i tried a few before i...

The chap, even after being told, took off in 2nd with loads of revs. I just knew by the end of the 7 day hire the clutch would burn out wit driv...

1987 1.9 T25 watercooled temp gauge
One of my hire vans has had the temp gauge reading somewhere in between the red warning light and max say 1/4 inch above the light and the light is about 1/2 way in the gauge. Is this correct. its been like it since I bought the van a month or so ago but I need to make sure. Any help please?? Frank ...

Re: Flexible fridge exhaust pipe
So I take it your allowed to use flexi to bridge the fridge flue to the outside of the van.
I have moved my fridge by about 2 ft was wondering if flexi would mean I didn't have to bore a new hole.

Re: Under slung water tank pro's / con's ?
Daisy our Auto Sleeper has both Water and Waste tanks and I think there great.....apart from they can cause problems getting on a flat bed trailer if you ever transport the camper about. We have never had freezing problems but then again, Daisy isn't used much in the winter. :) Unless you have a wat...

New RVTEC Interior....fridge flu problem
Hi all, just bought an RVTEC New interior. My original fridge will now sit in a slightly different position. I will now have a hole in the side of the van which is no use and I wont have a flu hole for the new position. Question: Is it possible to get flexi flue. It has to move forward by about 12 i...

Re: Buzzing noise from dash worse with lights on????
Whatever the cause of the problem is, the buzzer should not be influenced by lights/flashers, etc. It seems like the Oil Pressure warning system has been modified given that an alternative LED is fitted. The Oil pressure LED on Vans (with Oil Pressure warning system) is controlled by the same circu...

Re: Buzzing noise from dash worse with lights on????
the BoD sounds like a failing relay only louder . :ok thats exactly what it sounds like but it seems to have a volume control when you put electrical items on. :cheese as i first said, sounds like a wiring issue , although as you appear to be the victim of a hard of thinking previous owner it could...

Re: Buzzing noise from dash worse with lights on????
what exactly does the bOD sound like. the sound i have almost sounds like a relay that has started to fail?? Like the old fashioned buzzer people sometimes fitted in their homes instead of chimes for the doorbell (more commonly used in commercial reception areas to call someone to the desk). Quite ...
