hi front seals dont have a bead as such , they are either as yours is now of they have a chromie type trim as per velles and other "upmarket" versions........, string it in yourself or with help of a mate , utube  plenty of vids

I have the whole panels made for me, they go onto a brake press and get nicely formed :D
grind it back and see, you may just be lucky

simple job maybe ?? the area the slider cover sits against is critical, if you weld a new piece of steel in there it will have to be above the swage and there will be rot below it, go lower (and fit a new cover retainer) and this will sit the cover too far away from the body , it will look rubbish a...

Ta for that , now that we can upload easier ? I have 6  major rebuilds to post up i used to quite enjoy doing them even though they are very time consuming, there are still a number of threads semi intact on here. Its good to think folk are being helped by seeing what I believe is the correct way to...

parts no0t available that you need, there are some aftermarket ones that do a bit of the repair but i prefer to make them from scratch, post a picky up for better advice

if youve got a hole and its in good order then fit a grommet and further up the b post inside there is a larger grommet, poke the dynax or equivalent in there and dose it

hi the osf jp, inner sill/outer sill ,up into the B post plus inner panal behind fuel filler will all want doing as a minimum,otherside wont be far off, rear arm mount is shot and the inner will be the same ,  lots of work to be done right and most of it is structural,  I would walk at that sort of ...

ive cut the seat bases down and remade the reaffixed the runners gain a couple of inches  from this to start with then dependant on seat more can always be removed/rebuilt. fun

doesnt matter who supplied the seal or any claims as to quality , in my book if it has a "veewib" label on it then fit it, if not dont, not worth risking a screen for the cost of a seal , cut it out

cut it out neat to remove the crap , bond a nice piece of steel to the inside ,a few csk rivits to hold it and a fibreglass louvre panal you know the sort bonded on the outside, this way needs no welding skills you can do it yourself and it is an option

did i supply a backing panal for this ? either way it depends how they welded it on as to how much of a pig to undo and re weld, theyre not rocket science but there is a method,
