My 1984 crewcab failed mot on siezed front brake caliper Its the twin cylinder type but Im having trouble identifying it, its not like the pictures at the various online parts companies. Got a type of part number on it 64321990 Any ideas to make & where I can get one from / suitable alternative ...

Just fitted my 1y engine, starts ok, idles ok, move the actuator arm, no increase in revs, any ideas

I've type of got a multi connector, coming from the flange where the main water hose meets the block I suppose the yellow red and blue and Cheers

unfortunately it didn't come with the engine, just the parts for converting a 1y

Nearly there, gone from a 1.6cs to 1.9Y, got 3 wires left in engine bay

Yellow and red
Blue and black
Blue and white

Trouble is the 1y has a multi connector now removed, but where do my three wires go to ?

Found mine, have a look at the pictures in this string, but basically find you reversing light switch on the gearbox, approx 12inches lower after the last finn covered in grime is the number, takes a bit of scraping the much away but its there !

Changed lever mech within top of injection pump, through spindle from cs was slightly longer, thus able to fit original CS lever, hope it works !

Pete Been a bit layed up with a bad back, however made couple of bits of tooling ie cam locking tool (4.50mm thick for ref ) also made pump locking spigot. All making sense now, some previous tippex marks lining up now,confirming tooling ! Another question ! actuator arm on pump of 1.9 different tha...
