Not had this problem personally but the tanks can rust on the top. I reakon this maybe your first port of call if not check all pipes etc and also the pipes to the expansion tank in the wheel wells :ok

Diesel Engine mount rubbers

In the process of GTIing my van it's a 1.9dg at the mo and got all the parts, but was just wondering were can i get the rubber engine mounts for a diesel that connect engine bars to the engine mounts them selfs. tryed GSF and JK but no luck.

Hi Right need help, since i removed the dash a while ago my horn hasn't worked properly, randomly going off when u turn the wheel. so went to fix it and think its the steering wheel earthing so moved the key barrel down and should be fine. However doesn't work at all now and neather do my brake ligh...

My vans got it's MOT comming up so after taking the dash out about 6 months age the horn randomly goes off when you turn the wheel past 1 turn. whipped the wheel off today and cleaned the points but no luck. anyideas as i can't see any short circuits and i've lived with out an it for 6 months so nee...

I Had the same problem other day turned out to be the earth cable to the cylinder head on the left working lose on my DG. stuck that back on job sorted. Mine kept baging and poping as i went along as the cable cept touching the block. Shows how such a small thing has a big effect :|

Roof Rack

Just brought a Roof Rack for my van but it's designed for a Bay window I know you can modify them to fit but what exactly to i need to do? i guess a bay window is narrower just a case of widening the brackets :?

Blocked fuel Return

My 1.9 dg carevellle has developed a running problem.I cleaned the carb (webber) but no help. It seems to just not excelerate at all above 2500rpm. I reckon it's the fuel return but not 100% any ideas :?: :?
