Re: Tracking down a leak
I’ve just done that job and lost a couple of litres of coolant. Just place a bucket underneath to catch coolant and make sure the engine is cold.

Re: Where does your temperature gauge sit?
A year ago my gauge started to point way over to the right, with the red light flashing occasionally. No coolant loss and cooling fan kicked in as normal. Swapped temperature sensor for new one and now gauge sits slightly left of LED

Re: blue or pink coolant
If your coolant is colourless it’s probably just water. I’d top it up with water for now and in the near future drain it all off, flush out and refill using pink g13/water mix.

Re: Fuel Tank / filler
I've just replaced the breather which goes across top of tank. First put a smear of vaseline on the grommets , then when tank is in place reach through wheel arch and push pipe connector into grommet . Even if you can't see what you're doing , you'll be able to feel it. As for the cracked breather i...

Windscreen wipers
Seem to remember about a year ago someone recommending wiper blades from Home Bargains store. I went there today and bought a couple at £1.99 each ! Not tried them yet though.

Looking forward to see how your engine rebuild goes. Did you have any problems when stripping it down ? eg. head studs snapping etc

If you are using existing gearbox I've got an alignment tool you can borrow..same size as input shaft.

Can anyone identify this part ?
I have just replaced the headlights on campervan and found an electrical device I don't recognise. It looks like some sort of resistor approx 80mm long x 15mm diameter. It has 2 wires coming from it but are not connected to anything. It is in the headlamp aperture on drivers side (RHD) Photo attache...

Re: T25 Komet Skylight
Hi ,did you manage to find a skylight ?
O'learey motorhomes sell one to replace obsolete units which fit an aperture measuring 14" x 14".
I'm going to replace the skylight soon on my Autohomes Kameo soon.
They are located on A1174 between Beverley and Hull.

Re: Tailgate door card
Quickest and probably cheapest option is to fix door card by drilling holes through card into tailgate and secure with self tapping screws. If you cover card with fabric, cut a tiny slit in fabric were the hole is and you might never even see the screw heads. Alternatively fit plastic caps to screw ...

Re: Oil pressure buzzer (of doom?)
Sounds similar to problem I had..
Turned out to be a bad connection on the white multiplug connector under the dashpod.
Could also be a bad connection on the oil pressure switch itself.
