Solar power trickle charger
Are they worth it?
My battery goes flat in days.. its only a few months old.. charges fine while driving..
I was considering sticking a solar power trickle charger in there.. but don't want to waste £30 on something else that will go in the bin..
Are they any good?

Re: eberspacher petrol heater
If the clicking is the pump (easy to tell, put your hand on it or ear close) the fuel isn't getting through yet. It may take a dozen or more start attempts to get the fuel through if the line and pump are empty. Check the filter in the pump isn't blocked also. What model is it? Worked a treat.. jus...

The Bus Type on Vin is 253-609 Spent the day striping the dash out to replace blower that had seized need to tackle the stiff gear change next and the leaky roof.. Loving it.. http://s9.postimg.org/tnyftxmfv/1655925_10152162331356273_228172944_n.jpg http://s9.postimg.org/ky5y6tucb/1620927_1015216233...

Re: my first westy
Don't despair! I remember getting that 'sinking feeling' several days after I bought my California.....Ebber didn't work, fridge didn't work, the sink tap didn't work, petrol pored out from underneath when I filled the tank...the list went on! However, ask yourself the question...is the bus basical...

And I've done it again.. Last Van I bought was a complete money pit/dog.. The westy the roof leaks around the sealant.. not a problem really I can mend that.. Gear changes awful but not a problem I can sort this. Heater doesn't work and wipers packed up.. all fuses current and correct.. already thin...

Re: my first westy
I had no idea it wasn't an original roof.. I had intended to pay a lot more and buy a pop top Malibu or westy. I would have preferred a pop top but at the price I couldn't turn it down (for a westy surely that's a bargain?). Just hope I don't get blown over. I think the pictures on the add are old a...
