Yeah mate, that was my thinking.......know what I'm doing this weekend, never attempted it before but nothing ventured and all that.

On my drive to work this mornings water light starts winking at me, so soon as I could pulled over to investigate, plenty of water and temp was fine, however, I have discovered oil in the header tank.......and that can't be good

Ok, new plugs in eventually, and it works!!!!
Hooorrraaayyy!!!!
That and the new filter seems to have done the trick,made it to work, fingers crossed it gets me home.

Can't get mole grips in, will try and get the other one instead, I don't have a multi-meter, but I did turn ignition on and take the wire off and put back on, it did click so am hoping it's ok. Will get some new plugs in it tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks for everyone's help and advice thus fa...

I have removed the fuel lines, havent tried to remove the one under the pump yet, struggling with the one nearest the back of the van, nearest the pully's, it's rounded off.

After taking 2 plugs our neither of which got warm when I tested them, thought Id change them all, I think the new fuel filter will help if and when I do get it started, as the old one was packed with crap.
Just don't know how to get this pesky plug out.

Seems it may be a glow plug problem, got the easy ones out.......but the one closest the back has rounded off...... Brilliant

At least you managed to get yours out mate, I have the back 2 out but am struggling to get the one closest to the back out, it has rounded off and I don't know what magic to envoke to release it....as for the one hidden behind the pump well not looked at that one yet.

Well, I checked that each one was getting a power feed, but didn't take each one out, do I have to remove the pump to do that??

Ok, changed fuel filter, checked fuel cut off valve which IS clicking, there is smoke when it turns over, i`m assuming unburnt diesel........but still it wont start, dont know what else to try

Only had the Crewie for just over a month.........i havent replaced the fuel filter, will try and get one tomorrow.

No i haven`t drained the water out the fuel filter, will have a look at that tomorrow, thanks
