How do you know if you have put petrol into a diesel engine what are the symptoms and do the emisions smell waxy?

Yes it still does the smoking bit with the cold start lever pulled out in fact ypou can only pull it out about 4 inches it does not pull out al the way

Hi I have what is essentially a jx td engined van
It really smokes in the morning with tons of grey white smoke once it gets going the smoke goes away, any ideas folks?

Hi I have a problem with the gear stick vibrating, you cannot see it moving , but one can hear it and feel it vibrating. Just to give you a little background. its normally the o ring on the valve on the side of the heater that leaks, but the core can leak too. It's quite a cheap easy thing to replace, about 3 years ago i paid around £30 for a new core. Mine gets used a lot in winter, gives a nice even spread of heat in the van Still having problems dispi...

Hi all Can anyone shed any light on a problem I have been having with the van a westi atlantic I have noticed that when I lift up the grey drivers and passenger side mats, the carpet underneath is soaking on both sides I.e. the drivers and passenger side.
