Re: Golf GTi Conversion - Diesel Parts or Engine Adapter?
Hi guys...I'm in far away Malaysia and will be undertaking a GTi conversion on my Syncro after the DJ died... now searching the web to research what items I need. Could I please have a copy of Gary D's instructions too? Probably the 1st & only GTi conversion here on a Syncro (there's only 6 in t...

Re: TigerBus in Malaysia
TigerBus should have crossed the border to China from Laos yesterday. They will spent 3 months in China. Not much internet connection around that region, waiting for updates from them. Mickyfin, I'm sure they did make some contacts before the trip but mostly they met people along the way. I know the...

TigerBus in Malaysia
Here's some pictures of TigerBus in Malaysia. We took them to the southern most tip of mainland Asia and also had some fun green laning with some jeeps. They are now in Bangkok, Thailand before heading to Laos and then China. Martin and Sarah had traveled from Germany to India by land and then shipp...

Re: Are 14 inch steel rims for Bay window the same for Syncro?
I guess I'll follow you with the 96 rated 205/70/15 (Goodyear Fontera). My bus is a 9seater so should be lighter than a camper, that is if I don't carry 8 FAT passengers . I'll than buy the set of 14' Bay rims and put some mud tires and switch when I go off road. Thanks TMT!

Re: Are 14 inch steel rims for Bay window the same for Syncro?
Thanks for the reply... The 5.5j bay rims got the flower hole in the middle too... Think only the 6j are round. I'll dbl check on the part no. I'm looking back at the 14 as some commercial trucks use the 14 size here and some have aggressive mud patterns. Syncro is currently running a set of 15x7j R...
